Macro Product Photography by Louise Paige. Website Awwwards Nominee Indigo Concept.
Macro Product photography for Amberley Hampers. Working with Will from Indigo Concept and Steve from Crux Design .Will & Steve had been tasked with building Amberley’s new website. And a major Re- brand. The results are stunning. And their efforts quickly recognized, as now a website Awwwards Nominee.
A well respected prestigious body The Awwwards mission is to champion the best websites designers and developers globally. Judged internationally by leading talents in the industry.
Amberley Hampers are Luxury British Hand Fitted Picnic Hampers.
Based in Surrey. A family owned business. Trading for over 25 years. The Hampers are made with high quality materials. And hand fitted in the UK. Unique quality fittings and made to last.
Close-up product macro photography was used. This combined with strong lighting to highlight their extensive range. We had a lot to get through. Also shooting a large selection of hamper accessories. I loved the luxury blankets.
My favourite was The Dorset. A bright yellow interior with bone china cups. Sophie, the owner, makes Bespoke Vintage hampers. Highly sort after. Each one completely original. Fitted with prized vintage cutlery and crockery sourced over years.
Although studio photography, the light still needed to evoke a lazy summer afternoon picnic. With dappled hazy afternoon light. And the close up shots, still needing to feel very much ” shot on location”.
I probably should be talking more about the shoot. The benefits of close up macro product photography, and creating atmospheric lighting in the studio. But i just loved these picnic hampers… and i hope it shows.
